Enemies Update! - LOOPGEON 1.1


Hey y'all! As promised, here is update 1.1, which brings to the game one of its announced features in the last post: Enemies! This opens the door to more related features such as bosses, but if you want to know what's really in store for the game, read on to find out! 

But before all of that, here's the complete changelog:

v1.1 Changelog:

New features:

  • Enemies added throughout the dungeon, how do they work? You won't be able to move until you kill all the enemies, so be quick if you don't want to restart the loop before escaping.
  • Completely redesigned main menu with new animations and a more practical layout.
  • Now you'll get your escape time at the end of the game as a prototype of the new scoring system on the way.


Game changes:

  • Cycle timer countdown modified: Normal difficulty: 45 -> 30 | Hard difficulty: 90 -> 60
  • Room generation and spawn probabilities slightly modified
  • Player movement adjusted to be faster


Bugs fixed:

  • Timer size fixed. The timer now fits the screen and resizes properly.
  • Minor code optimizations



About LOOPGEON future:

The game has been active on views and overall was well recived, so expect another update in 7 to 10 days. Currently I'm looking forward to add mobile support via APK and a lot of updates, so stay tuned and share your feedback in the comments section below.

What to see on 1.2 update:

Bossfight at the end of the dungeon (Only hard mode)

Fully completed score system

Bigger dungeons and a whole lot of different sized rooms
